Atomoxetine 60 mg is a selective norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI) used for the treatment of Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
It is a non-stimulant ADHD medicine—unlike methylphenidate or amphetamines.

• Active Ingredient: Atomoxetine Hydrochloride USP – 60 mg per tablet

• Excipients: Microcrystalline cellulose, povidone, starch, lactose, magnesium stearate, coloring agents (varies by brand)

• Oral tablet

Atomoxetine 60 mg is commonly used for:

✔ ADHD in adults and children (≥6 years)
✔ Improving attention, focus, and mental control
✔ Reducing impulsivity and hyperactivity
✔ Long-term management of ADHD symptoms
✔ Sometimes used in ADHD with anxiety, where stimulants may worsen anxiety

Atomoxetine increases norepinephrine levels in the brain, improving:

• Concentration

• Impulse control

• Behavioral stability

Its effects are gradual, typically visible in 1–3 weeks.

• Adults and children (6+ years)

• Suitable for people who cannot take stimulant ADHD medications

Not recommended for:

• Children under 6

• People with severe liver disorder (unless supervised)
